The release of long awaited new AdGuard for Mac is getting nearer. And today we are one step closer as we start the alpha testing. There are a lot of changes awaiting, but we won't spoil all the fun by listing all updates of v2.0, instead, we will mention only the most remarkable ones.
This time, we are going to present to you a new product for iOS - Adguard PRO. This is a first step towards system wide ad blocking on iOS. With a little luck, our app will be approved and we'll move further to make this true.
We are launching beta test for Adguard Content Blocker. It is a browser extension for those Android browsers which support blocking of unwanted content. By this moment there are two such browsers – Samsung Internet and Yandex Browser.
More than two months have passed since the last update of Adguard for Android. It is a long break, but we were not sitting on our hands doing nothing. In fact, we have some big news for you: HTTPS filtering is finally here!
This is a major update with quite a few new features and some very important changes. At first we were focused at Safari and their new Content Blocker API, but while adding this new API support we have added some features that may be useful to users of any browser. Let’s start.
Dear friends, today we release new beta version of fully upgraded Adguard for Windows. This means that Adguard 6 official and long-awaited release will be really soon!

Downloading AdGuard
To install AdGuard, click the file indicated by the arrow
Select "Open" and click "OK", then wait for the file to be downloaded. In the opened window, drag the AdGuard icon to the "Applications" folder. Thank you for choosing AdGuard!

Install AdGuard on your mobile device
Installation
You can install AdGuard for Android only manually. For more details on Google Play's restrictive policy, check out our blog.
Allow installing apps from unknown sources in your device settings. In Android 8 or higher: tap the downloaded AdGuard APK file and then Install. If installations from a browser are not allowed, you'll get a notification. In this notification, tap Settings → Allow from this source → Back → Install.
Instruction for old Android versions
For Android 7: give the browser access to the repository. Then agree to download APK format. Open the downloaded file and install AdGuard.
For Android 6: open Settings, then select Additional settings in System & Device. Switch on Unknown sources and press OK in the system warning window.
(Please note that the path towards these settings may differ depending on a device).
For Android 5: open Settings, then select Security in the Personal section. Switch on Unknown sources and press OK in the system warning window.
You can now install the app on your device. You will see the request to save the downloaded file. Press OK.
When the download is complete, press Install in the installation dialogue. Wait for the installation to complete and press Done.
AdGuard is now installed on your device. To launch the app, press its icon in the list of installed apps.
Download an older AdGuard version?
This OS version isn’t supported. You can use an older version of AdGuard, but it won't receive updates
